several gui.exe processes (Windows task manager - processes)

Post by css1 »

Running Bullzip PDF printer on Windows 2003 Server (x64) through automation.

PDF printing process works fine but quite an often I see several instances of gui.exe processes running under
(windows task manager - processes)

I checke gui.exe (installed under C:\Program Files\ Bullzip) and have selected not to display dialog boxes and suppress all the errors.

Any help?

I have some quick questions:

Which version are you using?
Do you get all your PDF files?
Is there any pattern in when it keeps running?

version 3.0.210

Yes, PDF files are created.

Is there any pattern in when it keeps running?
(not sure about this)

I'm having this same problem with a version 6.0.0.865 of Bullzip.

Looks like it's randomly not closing down the gui.exe process. All my documents are coming through to the users, but with some it doesn't closes the gui.exe.
No real pattern as far as I can see and not on a specific kind of source. Really random. Sometimes it's 3 times in a row and sometimes it's after 5 succesful prints.

Working on Windows 2003 Server 32-bit.

What can be wrong?
