How to save a single page of a PDF document?

I have a multi-page PDF document and I want to save one page of it as a separate PDF document. When I try to do this with BullZip, it creates a .ps file which cannot be opened with Adobe Reader. If I change the BullZip default from .ps to .pdf, same result -- file cannot be opened in Adobe Reader. Anybody have an explanation or workaround?
