Error 380: Error loading macros.

Post by dripster82 »

Hi,

I've come to start using the PDF Printer since Xmas and I now get this error.

An error occured.
Error 380: Error loading macros. A script engine for the specified language can not be created.
Get the configuration for the PDF generation

Whats going on ??

I've installed the lastest version of PDF Printer and the Lastest GhostScript Lite and I still have the issue.
I've removed the printer completely and reinstalled. Same issue.

Any Ideas ??

Hi,

I've fix my problem.
Looked deeper into the problem and realised that vbs was not register with any script engine ( God knows why ).

I download this to fix my problem
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta ... laylang=en

Now it works a treat.

Hi,

GREAT HELP! I had the same problem (i think it was caused by unistllaing PDF-Complete).

In Vista the problem can be fixed by running: "regsvr32 VBScript" (if you have the dynamic link library (DLL) VBScript.DLL )

I'm getting this same error, but it doesn't seem to be because of VBScript. Or atleast registering vbscript.dll doesn't help. I'm running Windows 7 64-bit version and it worked originally, but after not using the pdf-printer for couple of months, something seem to have broken it...

I also tried to do the re-registering with instructions from here in case, but no cigar.
