Serious problems with (4.0.0.412) and (4.0.0.408)

Post by srijit »

For both (4.0.0.412) and (4.0.0.408) I get the following error in "PDF GUI" window whenever I try to print or even click Start -> Programs -> PDF Printer -> Options

Run-time error '380':
Invalid property value

It is not possible to use 4.0.0.412 or 4.0.0.408 at all.

However, 2007-10-14 (3.0.0.352) works fine.

I cannot reproduce the problem.

Does it happen when you open the options dialog only or does it also happen during printing?

What is your operating system and service pack level?

Which language is your operating system?

Which language do you select when you install the printer?

What is your screen resolution?

These question could help me reproduce the problem.

Yes, your setup does not raise any flags. I'm still unable to reproduce the error. I have made a new build of gui.exe, which can be downloaded here:

(link no longer valid)

Please replace your existing one in the program files folder and tell me if it works.

Jacob

That didn't do the trick. I'm getting help from Bart in Belgium. He can reproduce the error. If you can reproduce the error and wants to help us, then use the contact form to get in touch with us.
