Installation under Windows Vista

While installing Bullzip PDF Writer the following error occurs:
"Der Vorgang konnte nicht abgeschlossen werden (Fehler: 0x00000bc8). Das für das Druckertreiberpacket erforderliche Haupttreiberpaket wurde nicht gefunden"

In English: "Procedure could not be finished (Error: 0x00000bc8"). The main package of the driver could not be found".

Does anyone know why this happens and what I could do to avoid this problem?!

Are you running version 2.0.0.22?

Do you run the final version of Vista?

The PDF printer uses the printer driver for a "HP Color LaserJet 2500 PS". This driver may not be available on early beta releases of Windows Vista. Could you please tell me which version of Vista that you are running and if the "HP Color LaserJet 2500 PS" is available in your list of printers when installing a new printer.

Im running Windows Vista Ultimate Final.
I could not tell you, if the "HP Color LaserJet 2500 PS" is available, since when adding a printer, windows vista could not find a new printer and does not show me the list of available drivers.

Maybe the printer driver installation program stopped the printer spooler service which may affect the list of available drivers. Could you try to add a printer just after a reboot? If it continues to hide the list of drivers then something else must be wrong. You should at least be able to install the HP printer manually and have it print to a file. Let me know the result :-)

I downloaded the PostScript Driver from: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/Te ... EnvOID=228

Then i installed Bullzip PDF Printer (still the same error)
After that, i installed the printer Driver and selected Bullzip as port.

Now it works, but the installer still displays this exception.

I had some problems with the "HP Color LaserJet 2500 PS". The latest setup program uses another. Could you try the latest setup program and give me a status?

If have found the real problem. You have to enable the UAC (i had disabled UAC) in Vista and the installer works fine.

New problem

Hello, now i have a new problem:
When starting the setup under Vista Ultimate the following errror appears: "Program too big to fit in memory".
But i have 2 GB memory...

Anything i can do?
