"Not implemented" error on Windows 7 - innosetup fix

Post by midiboy »

Dear Bullzip Team,

there is an error with the last Bullzip PDF printer version due to a bug in the Innosetup version used.
Please find details here:
http://news.jrsoftware.org/read/article ... etup#84569

In another thread on that forum a fix has been posted:
http://news.jrsoftware.org/read/article ... etup#84421

Would you please use that fix to create a new version sometime soon so we continue to install the latest version of Bullzip printer ?

Thanks a lot

Bullzip team,
We are experiencing the exact same issue. Are there plans to recompile the installer script using the current version of InnoSetup?

Hi !

There is a new Innosetup version 5.3.7. available as of today:

Would you please issue a new Bullzip version using that installer version ?
Thanks in advance !

Dear BullZip Team,
InnoSetup v5.3.7 was *just* released: http://www.jrsoftware.org/isdl.php
The "What's new" page confirms that this version fixes the "Not implemented" issue.

Please advise when a recompiled Bullzip installer is available.
Thank you!

Thank you for the information about Inno Setup. You have been very helpful. A new release of the printer should be ready within a week.

Jacob,
Thank you much! I just confirmed that the newest version of Bullzip PDF Printer installs silently as part of an unattended Windows 7 install called from SetupComplete.cmd.

Hopefully many people will benefit from this fix.
