Some pdf files are printed missaligned / margin error

Some of my pdf files are printed "without left and top margin" and when i print this files some information is lost. any ideas where to start error testing? the application that prints this is a custom made C# application so to change it would be alot of work, but i am not sure where the error is. i can also share a screenshot of the pdf if that is any help.
