Superimpose in Landscape

I am trying to superimpose a pdf created with Microsoft Word with a pdf while printing in Microsoft Excel. Both documents are landscape orientation. I start by printing the word document in landscape. Then I try to superimpose that pdf in the Excel document I am also printing in landscape. The results have the Word pdf in portrait orientation instead of landscape. Is there any way to fix this?
