Error Message

Hi all,
New here and to this utility. I am trying to have this utility connect directly to my database and I am constantly getting this error. I have TRIED everything with the database name and still get the error.
"The connection database that you specified was not foundon the server. Please try to specify a different a Connection Database when asked for the Connection Options. Specifying an existing connection database usually fixes this problem.
Do you want to specify a different connection database?"
Again like I said I have tried the db name with the prefix_databasename, _databasename and database name and still get the same error. I have gone as far as using my root username/password and the database username/password and still nothing.
Any help is GREATLY APPRECIATED.
